Available Greyhounds

GALT's greyhounds are housed in foster homes and several commercial boarding kennels within the DFW metroplex. Available greyhounds attend Meet & Greet events each weekend. An appointment to meet a specific greyhound can only be arranged on approval of an adoption application.

A $75 deposit is required with submission of the application ($50 of which is refundable and $25 of which is non-refundable). The deposit is applied to the remainder of the adoption fee donation when the adoption occurs.

Hall of Famers (Age 10+)

GALT's non-refundable tax-deductible adoption donation fee is $225 for GALT's Hall of Famers.

Superstars (Ages 7-9)

GALT's non-refundable tax-deductible adoption donation fee is $275 for GALT's Superstars.

Athletes (Ages 1-6)

GALT's non-refundable tax-deductible adoption donation fee is $350 for GALT's Athletes.

Junior Varsity (Puppies)

GALT's non-refundable tax-deductible adoption donation fee is $350 for GALT's Junior Varsity puppies. An additional spay/neuter deposit of $350 will be required for puppies under the age of 6 months. This deposit is refundable on proof of spay/neuter before 9 months of age.
