Dallas Winter Boat Show
February 2, 3, 9 and 10, 2008
Once again GALT and its Greyhounds were the hit of the Dallas Boat Show. GALT is so fortunate to have this type of public exposure for its adoptable dogs. There were a number of new, enthusiastic fosters this year and the donation racing silk (and lots of encouragement from the fosters) helped raise more than usual donations.
Several Greyhounds were selected to be adopted into their forever homes and some new applicants spent more time than they thought they would getting to know the dogs and the GALT volunteers. A special thanks goes to all of the fosters who worked a shift (or shifts) so that the maximum number of Greyhounds could be shown. We'll see you again in July!!
